23rd Dec.

Technically, it's the 24th, but who cares, right?

Dreams

Lately, my dreams have centered around me being swarmed by enemies and dying, or my family/friends dying. This time however, my dreams were a bit odd:

Me and my mum were in my room; things were rearranged, but it was my room.
She was standing infront of what looked like a... dog toy. Its head was a rope tied into a ball, with rope leading down to form a body, and a large square piece of rope for a tail.
The only thing that stood out however, was that it was moving and had two large white fangs.

"I'll be fine, this is only a dream" she said, arguing with me.

"No it's not, get away from it!" I yelled back.

The thing lunged at her and bit her leg, she yelped and I pulled her away from it.

We ran out of the room and went to find my dad; we explained the situation to him. My sister was there as well, but was silent.
He didn't say anything and headed down the stairs. My mum followed, as well as my sister. They refused to answer me.

Outside was different; rather than the street, it was a long muddy path, surrounded by fenced off fields of grass.

Things flew past us overhead, shining lights down on us. Giant, brown humanoid creatures walked ahead and behind us, amidst the swarm of humans mindlessly walking down the path.

A message

This section is to a friend of mine; you know who you are. I've gone through a 'huge' change and several dramatic scenarios to reach the person who I am now.

To you, my friend, I thank you. I know I have been an annoyance and an everlasting headache (though you may not admit it), your words have helped calm me and prevent any dramatic happenings. Know that you may call me any time whenever you may need it.

Two Pints

So, I watched two episodes of Two Pints. Those in the UK will know what that is. Two scenes were created;  a good and a bad ending. One where Gaz was in a wheelchair and one where he wasn't. This situation got me to thinking; a scenario where I was forced to be in a wheelchair for life and one where I wasn't.

One would force me to be more mindful of everything, the other wouldn't. You have to know that if the situation would arise that you'd be forever trapped in a wheelchair, with no feeling below your waist, might just happen.

Christmas

So, Christmas! It's technically tomorrow, but let's pretend it's not. What's Santa getting everyone? Me? A new desk chair and some video games, hopefully. Oh, and some nice clothes...

Early January I should get £1k to spend all on my self. I'll be buying heaps more clothes and the like. As well as a passport.

Change

My personality type depends on change; mental and physical. Physically, i've changed a lot during the past 3 years.

Emotionally, somewhat. INFJ as we're called, depend on feelings to, well, control everything about us. I fall as close to the INTJ as I do the INFJ. Those that regard the mind more than  they do the heart.

Will have to end this rant earlier than i'd like to however; it's getting late. Goodnight, my fellow nocturnal friends.

Me and my mum wee in my room; things were rearranged, but it was my room.

She was standing infront of what looked like ah... dog toy. Its head was a rope tied into a ball, with rope leading down to form a body, and a large square piece of rope for a tail.
The only thing that stood out however, was that it was moving and had two large white fangs.

Dream – 1

In order to better keep my blog up-to-date, I thought I could use it as a dream journal as well.

This dream isn't a pleasant one, but it was too vivid to not write down.

My Throat

It was night; me and two guys, I can only assume were my friends in this dream, were on the streets.

We were playing with footballs and basketballs. I was going to pick up a basketball, but one of the guys got there before me, and wouldn't let me have it. I lunged forward, grabbing it and appearing behind him, bouncing the ball. It took him a second to notice.

"I wasn't done playing with that." I said in a growl.

We were climbing over a barbed wire fence. I couldn't get up for some reason, stuck sitting on the grassy hill. On the other side of the fence my two friends stood, staring out at the river in front of them. I asked for them to help; I couldn't use my legs. they used a shirt as a pully device, and I got across.

I sat on the bench laughing with them over something one of them said. The guy from before, the one that took my basketball, made me stand up and walk with him through the benches. He grabbed one and trailed it with him. My other dream-friend protested, but I told him to relax; he had something to prove.

We somehow walked to a hospital and walked inside; he still trailed the bench along behind him. Somehow I lost track of him and could only follow him by the noise he was making. There was no-one inside, yet all the lights were on; it looked deserted.

I found the bench outside a patient's room and went inside. There was a man lying on a bed in an otherwise empty room. He was hooked up to the life spport machine.
He suddenly started moving, flailing around as he awoke, obviously in shock as to where he was. I quickly escaped.

I walked down the halls until I found a nurse and began to ask her for help.
'Hello, can you help me?' I began, a doctor walked up to us and he spoke as if he had better get me a room before I collapse.

'No, no, I'm fine. You see, my friend-wait, my throat...' I started. It felt as if there was a lump in my throat.

'His throat is-' I couldn't hear what he said fully.

I stood in an enclosed space, small enough to be a locker. Everything was white, there was no exit.

Suddenly my throat erupted with blood, covering the wall in front of me. It ran down me as I slowly bled to death.

A filler and future projects

Animation

Just moments ago I had an idea for an animation. It will feature a charmander and an evil plant:

Charmander x Little Shop of Horrors

This is also acting as a filler until I draw the storyboards for it, or for anything else I may draw within the next few days.

Saturday

Yesterday, a friend turned 20. I spent the night at his house, which is a fair distance from my own.

His cousin joined us. He isn't the type of guy i'd hang out with normally, but it was a nice change to slum it out a bit.

We arrived there about 1pm and ate. A Belfast fry is totally worth an hour and a half car journey.

We then went out to a... building. It looked like a storage shed. There was a sort of activity thing going on there, we paid £10 each and done some pretty weird 'team building' activies. We done classic games like 'over and under' and 'the human chain' I think they were called.

It was fun, but the archery and laser clay pigeon was the most fun; I was decent at the archery for my first two shots, but then I was awful. I rocked the laser clay pigeon shooting though. I found out that the guns aim was a bit off, you don't need to line it up through the sights and shoot, it's right by the side when you should shoot. Odd.

Oh, did I mention we were split into two teams? The old people vs the young people. Sadly, we lost. We had 1,500 or so points, the oldies around 2,000.

After that we went back to the house and drank and generally had a good time for a few hours, After ordering and eating a chinese, we went out to a bar. There many a thing happened.

1. I had my first cigarette. It was... odd. I thought the general rule for smoking-virgins is for them to cough and hack at the first draw, but I was fine. Maybe it was cheap cigarettes. I can still actually remember the taste and feeling, it felt weird, like when you inhale cold air, only this was smoke. Oh, I later found out the dude was also smoking pot. Got home and had to lie through my teeth that I had been smoking, saying a friend was. Don't worry, I don't plan on taking them up.

2. I vomited for the first time while drinking. I honestly barely remember it, but it definately happened. We were sitting at the table, enjoying ourselves when suddenly my stomach lurched. I shot up and ran outside and vomited. I remember looking at it and going 'Huh, someone threw up here.'

3. The other guy staying with us? Flashed him my PA. I told him about it before we went to archery; the lucky bastard guessed when I was talking about my piercings. He seemed real impressed, saying he's known a few guys that said they wanted one, but never actually did it. But I digress. We were outside, probably smoking again, kinda hazey. We were talking about it again and I said something along the lines of 'Wanna see it?' and whipped it out.

After all that, we left for the house. We walked so far... I actually fell over a few times. I'm clumsy sober, drunk i'm a mess. I apparantly fell into a ditch, explains my muddy jeans. I also tore a tiny hole on the front of them. Who cares about £40 jeans?

We arrived, fell into our seperate beds and fell asleep. The house gets god awful cold, they don't have a fancy heating system like we do, it seems.

We actually had to chase the bus; the lady driving us parked infront of it when it stopped to let someone else on, that was fun.

Me and the other guy left for Belfast, our birthday-host couldn't come with us. The entire bus ride I felt like I was going to be sick; I later found out I was experiencing a hangover. Damn, there goes another first.

No pictures, I can't be bothered to upload any at the moment.

Did I mention i've only ate a bit of toast today? Lack of food is fun... Stomach's still outta whack, so I daren't try and eat anything. Maybe later.

Random

Thrown at my blog, I have little choice but to type...

College

I forgot about making a spaceship animation... Perhaps I can blame it on preparing for a lego animation. We spent the whole class trying to do a tennis match animation, but it didn't work out so well... We kind of just played around. I still can't help but feel that i'm an outsider in my new group; last year there were 3 groups, me and two friends, another group and the one i'm in now.

Dragon Age Origins

I've made every class so far... Barely levelled any of them besides mage. He was awesome; he froze things and shale shattered them. That build could be reworked though, and my characters always ended up looking sad or had abnormal looking chins.  Characters like Alistair always had such perfect looking faces, while my character looked fucking demented. Hell, it barely matters save for the cutscenes where you see his face, but come on.

Tempted to do a solo run, but then it'd be annoying, hardly enjoyable. My type don't do such demanding things, so it might be best to stick with playing the game normally.

Ear Piercing

It. Fucking. HURTS.

Cleaning it is the most pain i've ever experienced from a piercing. The top hoop is too hard to see and clean on my own, so I have someone else clean it for me.

It's so painful I end up yelling curse words. It feels like being pierced all over again.

There's a lot of puss and very little blood now, guess that means it's healing. Sleeping on it is still impossible, as well as wearing headphones that cover the ear... Sad that I ordered expensive ones that cover the entire ear. They should be here in a week at most.

PA

Er, not a subject most would like to read about. But I looked into removing the captive bead and replacing it, but it seems I need a special instrument to do so.

Even then I don't think i'd like to replace the peircing. I was thinking of a plastic replacement, but that apparantly starts smelling after a while. Not attractive. A segment ring is apparanly nowhere near as comfortable as a captive bead. Sure the ball can get in the way, but i'd rather have it than a segment that keeps turning...

Here I am talking about being squeemish about replacing it and I let a guy with a needle at it. Weird.

Milkshakes and piercings

Piercing

DSC00035

So today I went and got my ear pierced.

Isn't it shiny? It hurt like hell! And to think after the first one I had to endure it again...

Oh well, was totally worth it, even if I can't lie on that side of my head for a while.

Milkshakes

There's this little shop called The Cookie Box. They make cookies.

BUT, they also make milkshakes.

Of anything.

You walk in, look at the huge wall of cookies and chocolate, pick something out, pay the dude £2.50 or so and you get a milkshake of it. Pay them an extra £1 and you get a larger version that has TWO things in it.

I got an Oreo milkshake.

oreo milkshake

I know it may look like someone added glitter and bits of rock to it, but it's lovely. Even if it looks like sludge.

Sleepover

Another house party has been planned, this time at the end of the month, to celebrate our host aging another year.

This'll be fun, since a contact I had once thrown away will be there as well.

Oh the memories~

belfast_city_hall

Me and two friends were hanging out today, after I got my ear pierced. It was like we had went back three years, to when we first met, just laughing and having fun, making fun of all the weird people we seen... Ah, good times.

Street Performers

street performer1

There was a guy playing the guitar and singing in town today, I actually stopped and had to listen.

He sang this song:

Don't go looking for the original, this guy's much MUCH better.

Second Post

Was told to update this, so here we go.

Piercings

pierce

I've been wanting some more for a while now, and have decided on getting the top and side of my ear pierced; two hoops. Possibly my eyebrow as well. Only problem is waiting for your session. You walk in, say what you want, wait 5 hours then get pierced in all of 5 minutes. I suppose i'm just lazy.

Demon's Souls

yurt

This is stil holding my interest, if only for trying out different builds and weapon types. I've grown to love the Curved Swords type, even if they're still much weaker than my magic dependant weapon. Oh well, once I pump dex they'll be much, much stronger.

Eristoff Wild Berry

eristoff

Lovely taste. You could drink it with just ice, since it doesn't even taste that strong...

And it's not. This stuff is delicious, but also stains your teeth, lips and tongue a dark purple.

That's all, really. Not much else to talk about, nothing interesting has happened.

First post.

This is my first post, woohoo!

I changed the theme, but it seems to be a very basic default theme. No matter, it still looks decent.

Demon's Souls

I know, a lovely name. I've been playing this 'soul crushingly difficult' game for the past week now and have been loving it. The only real challenge i've gotten out of it are the other players.

demons-souls

I've invaded about... 40 people and won around 10 times? Heh, maybe not that low, but still. I've encountered a lot of people that can bypass my guard and hurt me with even one handed weapons, and i'm using a giant axe and huge-ass shield.

Oh and there's those that use that overpowered AoE fire spell. Those guys can go to hell. Instant-bloody-OHKO.

Normally though I invade 4-2, since LOTS of people go there to farm souls. There's almost always a few blue phamtoms there. There was one time when I killed both the blue phantoms (basically helper players) then killed the host. It must feel so cheap to summon help. But then i'd do the same. I'm the type to wait for the guy i'm invading to move before I attack. Weird, considering i'm there to kill them.

I've already learned that magic > everything. High level magic > everything even more.

demons_soul_profilelarge

This fucker right here. This is spoilers, so don't read if you somehow care about this bastard.

This guy is hard. He will kill you in one hit if he can touch you. I somehow managed to have enough stats to not die in one hit. He rammed me, I healed.

This fight is script based. You go to a harpoon, click it, do 1/3 of its hp. do it one more time and it can't move. Its head is lying conveniently on the edge of the cliff you can walk towards. You slap its glowing chin once or twice and it dies. What a wonderful fight, 'Dragon God.'

Nothing worth 'blog' status just yet. More than likely will rant more about this game.

Oh well, enjoy.
