A filler and future projects
Animation
Just moments ago I had an idea for an animation. It will feature a charmander and an evil plant:
This is also acting as a filler until I draw the storyboards for it, or for anything else I may draw within the next few days.
Saturday
Yesterday, a friend turned 20. I spent the night at his house, which is a fair distance from my own.
His cousin joined us. He isn't the type of guy i'd hang out with normally, but it was a nice change to slum it out a bit.
We arrived there about 1pm and ate. A Belfast fry is totally worth an hour and a half car journey.
We then went out to a... building. It looked like a storage shed. There was a sort of activity thing going on there, we paid £10 each and done some pretty weird 'team building' activies. We done classic games like 'over and under' and 'the human chain' I think they were called.
It was fun, but the archery and laser clay pigeon was the most fun; I was decent at the archery for my first two shots, but then I was awful. I rocked the laser clay pigeon shooting though. I found out that the guns aim was a bit off, you don't need to line it up through the sights and shoot, it's right by the side when you should shoot. Odd.
Oh, did I mention we were split into two teams? The old people vs the young people. Sadly, we lost. We had 1,500 or so points, the oldies around 2,000.
After that we went back to the house and drank and generally had a good time for a few hours, After ordering and eating a chinese, we went out to a bar. There many a thing happened.
1. I had my first cigarette. It was... odd. I thought the general rule for smoking-virgins is for them to cough and hack at the first draw, but I was fine. Maybe it was cheap cigarettes. I can still actually remember the taste and feeling, it felt weird, like when you inhale cold air, only this was smoke. Oh, I later found out the dude was also smoking pot. Got home and had to lie through my teeth that I had been smoking, saying a friend was. Don't worry, I don't plan on taking them up.
2. I vomited for the first time while drinking. I honestly barely remember it, but it definately happened. We were sitting at the table, enjoying ourselves when suddenly my stomach lurched. I shot up and ran outside and vomited. I remember looking at it and going 'Huh, someone threw up here.'
3. The other guy staying with us? Flashed him my PA. I told him about it before we went to archery; the lucky bastard guessed when I was talking about my piercings. He seemed real impressed, saying he's known a few guys that said they wanted one, but never actually did it. But I digress. We were outside, probably smoking again, kinda hazey. We were talking about it again and I said something along the lines of 'Wanna see it?' and whipped it out.
After all that, we left for the house. We walked so far... I actually fell over a few times. I'm clumsy sober, drunk i'm a mess. I apparantly fell into a ditch, explains my muddy jeans. I also tore a tiny hole on the front of them. Who cares about £40 jeans?
We arrived, fell into our seperate beds and fell asleep. The house gets god awful cold, they don't have a fancy heating system like we do, it seems.
We actually had to chase the bus; the lady driving us parked infront of it when it stopped to let someone else on, that was fun.
Me and the other guy left for Belfast, our birthday-host couldn't come with us. The entire bus ride I felt like I was going to be sick; I later found out I was experiencing a hangover. Damn, there goes another first.
No pictures, I can't be bothered to upload any at the moment.
Did I mention i've only ate a bit of toast today? Lack of food is fun... Stomach's still outta whack, so I daren't try and eat anything. Maybe later.
Random
Thrown at my blog, I have little choice but to type...
College
I forgot about making a spaceship animation... Perhaps I can blame it on preparing for a lego animation. We spent the whole class trying to do a tennis match animation, but it didn't work out so well... We kind of just played around. I still can't help but feel that i'm an outsider in my new group; last year there were 3 groups, me and two friends, another group and the one i'm in now.
Dragon Age Origins
I've made every class so far... Barely levelled any of them besides mage. He was awesome; he froze things and shale shattered them. That build could be reworked though, and my characters always ended up looking sad or had abnormal looking chins. Characters like Alistair always had such perfect looking faces, while my character looked fucking demented. Hell, it barely matters save for the cutscenes where you see his face, but come on.
Tempted to do a solo run, but then it'd be annoying, hardly enjoyable. My type don't do such demanding things, so it might be best to stick with playing the game normally.
Ear Piercing
It. Fucking. HURTS.
Cleaning it is the most pain i've ever experienced from a piercing. The top hoop is too hard to see and clean on my own, so I have someone else clean it for me.
It's so painful I end up yelling curse words. It feels like being pierced all over again.
There's a lot of puss and very little blood now, guess that means it's healing. Sleeping on it is still impossible, as well as wearing headphones that cover the ear... Sad that I ordered expensive ones that cover the entire ear. They should be here in a week at most.
PA
Er, not a subject most would like to read about. But I looked into removing the captive bead and replacing it, but it seems I need a special instrument to do so.
Even then I don't think i'd like to replace the peircing. I was thinking of a plastic replacement, but that apparantly starts smelling after a while. Not attractive. A segment ring is apparanly nowhere near as comfortable as a captive bead. Sure the ball can get in the way, but i'd rather have it than a segment that keeps turning...
Here I am talking about being squeemish about replacing it and I let a guy with a needle at it. Weird.
Milkshakes and piercings
Piercing
So today I went and got my ear pierced.
Isn't it shiny? It hurt like hell! And to think after the first one I had to endure it again...
Oh well, was totally worth it, even if I can't lie on that side of my head for a while.
Milkshakes
There's this little shop called The Cookie Box. They make cookies.
BUT, they also make milkshakes.
Of anything.
You walk in, look at the huge wall of cookies and chocolate, pick something out, pay the dude £2.50 or so and you get a milkshake of it. Pay them an extra £1 and you get a larger version that has TWO things in it.
I got an Oreo milkshake.
I know it may look like someone added glitter and bits of rock to it, but it's lovely. Even if it looks like sludge.
Sleepover
Another house party has been planned, this time at the end of the month, to celebrate our host aging another year.
This'll be fun, since a contact I had once thrown away will be there as well.
Oh the memories~
Me and two friends were hanging out today, after I got my ear pierced. It was like we had went back three years, to when we first met, just laughing and having fun, making fun of all the weird people we seen... Ah, good times.
Street Performers
There was a guy playing the guitar and singing in town today, I actually stopped and had to listen.
He sang this song:

Don't go looking for the original, this guy's much MUCH better.
